Friday discussion question #12
Now that the fall television season is well underway, what is everyone watching and what are your favorites?
For me, it’s Modern Family, The Walking Dead, Bored to Death, and Terriers.
Terriers is a superb but low-rated FX drama (it airs Wednesday at 10pm) in which ex-cop and recovering alcoholic Hank Dolworth (Donal Logue) partners with his best friend, former criminal, Britt Pollack (Michael Raymond-James) in an unlicensed private investigation business. Ten episodes have aired and there are three more to go, so it’s not too late to catch up. The people at FX really like it, and if the ratings get better over the next three weeks, it just might get picked up for another season which would make me very happy. Next Wednesday’s episode was even directed by Tucker Gates, who directed seven episodes of LOST, including “Ab Aeterno” and “Across the Sea.”
Now that I’m done blabbing about the best show that no one seems to be watching, let’s hear what you’re watching this fall!

What is your most prized LOST-related possession?
Mine is this skate deck. Last summer during the damoncarltonandapolarbear art series, they’d give hints about locations and have some item that you’d get for showing up at the date/time specified which would lead to the site where the print was up for sale. I showed up at the Johnny Cupcakes store on Newbury St. (right down the street from where I live) at 10am that morning and was first in line to get one. There were only about ten made. On the other side it says thatandbasketweaving.com, which features the Olly Moss print.
