Figure out which letters are missing, and think Roman numerals. I needed Google’s help for the answer because I only know smaller roman numerals offhand. Once you get your answer, type it in the designated box below the image. You’re taken to another screen where you see what looks like a time and three dates (9:14 01_27.28.29_2012) and the words “it begins.” There’s also what looked like map coordinates, and I typed them into Google maps and they pointed to exactly what I thought they’d point to. It also says to “stay tuned for more details, and gives you a hashtag (#legendsofalcatraz) and a Twitter account to follow, @alcatrazlegends. (via alcatrazonfox)
